Me and my political ideologies
For the finnish people – member of parliament Sanna Antikainen

I started my journey 1988 in Kuopio. I grew up in a home overshadowed by my parents' alcoholism. Fortunately, Finnish society helped me. Now I want to give back the help I received.

By education I am a Registered Nurse, and prior to that I worked as practical nurse. I have work experience in elderly care, mental healthcare  and child welfare. As a practical nurse I have learned that the most severe cases must be taken care off. At difficult times I can not remain silent and I do not escape responsibility. This is also my guideline in politics.I have worked in my hometown's City Councilor since 2013 and in addition, I have many other different positions of trust. At the 2017 municipal elections, I was Outokumpu's second-most voted candidate with 136 votes and this brought me the 2nd vice chair of the City Council.
I was also North Karelia´s Finns Party circuit 2. Vice Chairman years 2018 to 2019 and Chairman of the North Karelia Finns Party's women's chapter till year 2019. I started politics at one time by founding the The Finns Party Youth of North Karelia together with other Active People. I was chairman of The Finns youth from 2013 to 2015. I live in Outokumpu, North Karelia with my husband and two lovely sons. My firstborn Toivo was born in 2010 and our youngest child Joni 2012.

FinLAND IS NO LONGER A SAfe HAVEN

Love for Finland and Finnish people is the foundation of all my political activities. Finnish culture, Finnish customs and traditions are unique in a large global world.

In recent years, Finland's security situation, along with the rest of Europe, has changed step by step for the worse. Numerous terrorist attacks in Europe have claimed the lives of hundreds of people. In August 2017, Finland's first terrorist attack was seen in Turku, when a Finnish asylum seeker in the 2019 brutally slaughtered Finnish women on the street.

In addition to terrorism, Finns have been shocked by sexual crimes against young girls in Oulu and elsewhere. The perpetrator or perpetrators have usually been an nonresident man. Studies have shown that men born in Africa and the Middle East have a 17-fold higher crime rate than native Finns.

The arrival of extreme Islamism in Finland is a serious matter that cannot be resolved by explanation. Now is the time for a tougher immigration policy. Hanging out with terrorism is life-threatening.

bORDERS ARE LOVE

Finland should no longer allow asylum seeker men to come alone within its borders. Limited resources should be focused on helping the most vulnerable (women and children). Finland must adhere to zero tolerance for sexual offenses and terrorism. Persons associated with sexual crimes and terrorist organizations should be expelled rapidly from Finland.

The fighters returning from Isis should not be tried to be rehabilitated into our society, but should be expelled. Asylum seekers who have been deported must be detained pending their return home. This prevents their disappearance. For example, it should be easier to expel foreigners who commit serious crimes, for example.

In the future, if the situation so requires, Finland must be able to prevent entry at the Swedish border for those who do not have the required documents. Finland should continue to refuse to accept asylum applications from arriving from Sweden, because Sweden is a safe country.

In order to improve the security of Finns, the police, rescue services, the border and defense forces need proper resources for their important work. Necessary measures must also be taken to ensure their well-being at work.

the eu is no longer the same

Furthermore, I am an honest critict of immigration in the EU and euro-critical woman. The EU is no longer what they once marketed to us. The euro has impoverished our economy and the EU has narrowed our democracy by taking decision-making far from us.

Finland must be able to make its own decisions without EU directives or other regulations. For example, in 2015 we paid over $ 1 billion in net membership fees. It will inevitably come to mind what good we would have done with that billion in our country: moldy buildings in order, road repairs, more money for care of the elderly, and so on

FAIR society

In society, I believe in individual freedom. But freedom also brings responsibility. Everyone must take responsibility for their own actions. Serious criminals, such as murderers and sex offenders, must face harsh sentences for their crimes that are appropriate to the people's justice. Life sentance should be worthy of its name.

In our society I want to listen to people. I want a referendum on our EU and Euro membership. I also want our state to listen to the people when we talk about the damage caused by trublemaking wolves. Wolves have killed dogs for decades, and hunters may no longer dare to let their dogs out during the hunting season. It is wrong that hunters and people in sparsely populated areas even have to fear for the safety of children.

It is good for people to live only in a safe and caring society. Our elderly and the sick deserve good care and good education and day care for our children.

WORK AND CARE

Our society must also be fair to all. The food queues have grown too long. Unemployment or illness has pushed some of our citizens into the food queue. This is not right.

Practical nurses, nurses, paramedics, social services and social workers, who care for our citizens, must be afforded reasonable compensation for the work they do. All of them are paid too low for the demands of the job.

Security guards, prison guards, police, rescue personnel and border guards working with security must also be guaranteed fair compensation for the work they do. All of these professional groups, it is important that they have enough to help our citizens at the time of need and concern.

Finnish society must provide its citizens with work, security and care, and must put its citizens' concern before the improvement of the world. Work is not created by compulsion. Jobs are created by supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs, taking care of infrastructure and human health.
